Construction Administrative Assistant – Dallas
Cobalt Construction Company – Dallas, Texas is currently seeking a Construction Administrative Assistant who will perform project management administrative support such as project meeting minutes, plan distribution and coordination, RFI, transmittal and submittal tracking and job cost functions to assist project managers in various aspects of general contracting.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Request For Information (RFI) - Track, log, disburse and file
Submittals – Register, track, package processing, log and file
Change Orders – Distribute, track, log and file
Subcontracts – Distribute, track, log and file
Create and maintain project directories
Set up and maintain project files
Set up project files for field use
Create Project Brochures (Exhibit to Subcontract Documents)
Acquire insurance documents required for permit application processing.
Attend project meetings as needed
Preparation of meeting documentation
Distribute meeting minutes
Set up appointments for client, architect, owner, subcontractors
Construction documents – Create, monitor disbursement, distribute, and file.
Project Close Out Documents (Warranties, Operating Manuals, As-Builts) – Coordinate with accounting, obtain documents, track, log, file, and distribute
Research product and submittal information
Drawings and Specifications – Log, order, monitor disbursement, distribute and maintain planwell.
