Cobalt’s multi-generational heritage has its roots in engineering. Since 1946, Cobalt has offered a myriad of heavy engineering construction services including demolition, shoring, dewatering, methane mitigation, grading, excavation, sewer, storm drainage, water, fire water, and dry utility work. We pride ourselves on offering innovative, cost-effective and project-specific design, planning and implementation for all our engineering work. Throughout the project our whole team, from executives to the field, is engaged to provide innovative and efficient Best in Class engineering services.
Cobalt had a track record of developing synergistic relationship with the project team to ensure greater coordination and collaboration, increased quality control, decreased time requirements, and cost reduction. Engineering helps the project get out of the ground right and continue that momentum through the rest of the project.
Engineering maintains over 75 heavy engineering crew members and a large fleet of heavy equipment in inventory. Cobalt self performs and subcontracts to several other independent owner builders and general contractors including Bernards, Watt Developers, Trammel Crow, Caruso Affiliated, and Swinerton. Ultimately, Cobalt Engineering provides great value to owners in terms of experience, price, quality and synergy.
